PoliSat.Com provides innovative, free-use imagery to
aid commentators exposing AARP as "Road Hog in
Edsel" blocking travel on highway toward modernizing Social Security with private
accounts.
In an innovative effort to help clear the highway towards modernization of Social Security by
drawing attention to the AARP
traffic-blocking road hogs, PoliSat.Com is providing two forms of free-use imagery to aid
commentators in illustrating the reactionary role being played by AARP
(Aging Americans Ravaging Posterity) in its effort to sabotage efforts to introduce
private-ownership elements to cure the pyramid-scheme nature of FDR's original program. Part
of the theory underlying this effort is the assumption that for those old enough to remember Edsels--
i.e., most of the people currently being suckered into paying dues to AARP-- these images may
help stimulate sufficient introspection to motivate them to either deprive the AARP of their
"dues" as fuel for its reactionary campaign or somehow force AARP to start promoting,
rather than trying to block, modernization of Social Security.
A few
(but too few) in the traditional media are willing to challenge AARP's claims. That
means the non-traditional media must carry the ball. To facilitate such efforts, PoliSat.Com
is making the imagery available in two sizes: The above-left imageº¹
measures 216 by 194 and the above-right imageº²
measures 108 by 114. The imagery is designed to get the attention of those who may be unaware
they're driving with their turn-signal stuck on "left" while blocking travel lanes for
others by refusing to keep up with the traffic.

Hogs in Edsels: AARP-- Aging Americans Ravaging Posterity on the Retirement Highway.
The AARP (Aging Americans Ravaging Posterity) is waging
Shermanesque political warfare against George Bush's proposals to modernize "Social Security."
When are Americans over age 45 years going to stop paying dues to subsidize the campaign by AARP
attacking the first innovative proposal to substitute a real retirement system for the Ponzi Scheme
begun by Roosevelt decades ago? Too many are too addicted to the so-called
"discounts" they receive by being "members" of "AARP," the most
selfish, self-centered, demagogic organization in the history of American politics.
Years ago when I turned 45, I began receiving junk mail from "AARP." I refused to be
one of the suckers joining such faux "membership" organization. I knew then
it would become the kind of organization I wouldn't join at gunpoint. To my great
consternation, my wife continues paying the annual "dues" for her "membership"
in this disgusting organization. I'd rather pay "full price" for what I want than to
sell my dignity to such a left-wing, pro-nanny-government organization of whiners in order to get a
"discount."
"Seniors" should find more dignified ways of getting
"discounts" than furnishing financial support for the alleged "membership" goals
and purposes of such a transparently self-serving, posterity-be-damned organization. How
pathetic that so many members of what Tom Brokaw justifiably called "the Greatest
Generation" have allowed themselves to be so blatantly used by this alleged
"membership" organization in ways to undermine the goals for posterity that the Greatest
Generation sacrificed so willingly decades ago to preserve.
