My sources covertly explained
that Gore boarded Howard Dean's train
because he accepted
my views on the seventh¹--
He's raining on Hillary's Game.
His reason for shunning poor Joe
is not that he'd want to say "No"
to Joe, his old friend,
but rather to end
the chances for Hill'ry to grow.
Perhaps what continues to sting
the most ain't the Florida thing,
but thinking his loss
by Bubba was caused
by leaving a tub with a ring.
Since Al won't help Joe to stop Dean,
then Hill'ry more often must preen
for chances to say
"I haven't okayed
that ' Draft-Hill'ry Clinton ' machine."
That Gore said it's Dean he will tout
puts Hillary's planning in doubt
by increasing chances
that quantum advances
by Dean will leave Hill'ry locked out.
He's bollixed her planning to count
on deadlock providing the route
for Hill'ry to craft
a "Hillary Draft"
if polling for Dubya's gone south.
