Will Leahy disdain McAuliffe's refrain?..

McAuliffe's supporting the clan* 
that's clucking on cue to demand
that Bush should refuse
for ads to include
his use of a tailhook to land.

We wonder if Senator Leahy
will "ditto" what Terry is saying
or simply abstain
or join the refrain
to echo what Terry is saying.

Will Leahy disparage the clucking
as forms of political mucking,
or will he contend
he's one who has been
supporting the guard against mucking?

Inspired by curiosity over what, if anything, Patrick Leahy will say about Terry McAuliffe's joining the Cued Clucks Clan's condemnation of Bush by demanding that Bush take steps to prevent any political campaign on his behalf from using pictures of his tailhook landing on the Lincoln.  Will Leahy characterize the clamor by McAuliffe and the Cued Clucks Clan as political mucking or will he contend he's a politician who's proudly supported the guard against mucking?    *Go here to learn who's in the Cued Clucks Clan.

    The co-pilot flying of Dubya to land
    on Abraham Lincoln to honor all hands
    from sailors won cheers
    in contrast to jeers
    and pecking and clucking on cue by the clan.

Inspired by the cases of vapors exhibited by Robert Byrd and Henry Waxman over Bush having co-piloted the Viking jet onto the Abraham Lincoln to honor the crew and leave an indelibly positive impression in the minds of voters.  What a contrast to Clinton's strutting around carriers in a "flight jacket" appearing like a fish out of water.  Bush's arrival as co-pilot conveyed a natural rather than contradictory image.  Anyone doubting that virtually every member of the Abraham Lincoln's crew genuinely appreciated the manner and purpose of his visit has probably never served in the military and certainly doesn't understand the thinking or philosophy of people who volunteer for service obligating them to go in harm's way on the President's orders. --Jim Wrenn, Editor@PoliSat.Com.·
