A new mindless tactic by PeTA fanatics (limerick 20000826-01)
    PeTA proclaims that the answer
    why Rudy has "Got Prostate Cancer"
    is those of his ilk
    were wrong to drink milk
    'cause PeTA thinks soy is the answer.
    The PeTA crowd long has been sinking
    to acts of bad taste without blinking.
    With tactics so crude
    they simply have proved
    the cancer is in their own thinking.

    An old way some lawyers got clients?  
    On rescue-squads they were reliant.
    But now what some do 
    is go to the zoo 
    and sign-up some primates as clients.

---Inspired by 07-05-00 Fox News story implying that Steve Ann Chambers, a Seattle attorney and President of the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) has filed, or intends to file, legal proceedings to declare that great apes and other primates are legally entitled to "personhood." (Although the Animal Legal Defense Fund is not a part of PeTA, this is a suitable place for rhymes about the ALDF.)

    We've read there's a show called "Survivors" 
    that's out-rating most of its rivals
    'Though I can't review it 
    'cause I haven't viewed it, 
    I know it deserves a high-5-er !
    Of course it ain't La Dolce Vita 
    to eat a cooked rat in a pita,
    But what is so good 
    about rat de jour? 
     It angers fanatics at PeTA !

    should promptly embark on atoning
    'cause its license plates 
    show animal-hate:  
    A cowboy and bronc rodeo-ing ... .
    So Wyoming's Gov'nor should say, 
    "I'd bring PeTA folks to our state,
    And substitute them 
    for animal friends, 
    but they look the same from both ways"
