Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire (limerick 20000525-01)
    The charge against Tripp was about .... 
    revenge by the pro-Clinton crowd.
    But judges aspire 
    to disbelieve liars, 
    so Monica's words were thrown out.
    Lewinsky just can't be believed 
    without other proof of her deeds.
    The judge was quite wise 
    in knowing she lies 
    whenever it suits her own needs.
    This ruling provides a good map 
    when Bill tries to beat the Bar rap.
    The things we now know 
    so clearly do show 
    he won't tell the truth 'til he's trapped.

    has almost shut Monica's lips
    Judges have skills 
    much better than Bill's 
    'cause they don't just shoot from the hip.

"Justice" Marches On ..(Judge to decide defense motion in Linda Tripp case on 12-14-99).
    A single-mom worker named Tripp 
    was told Willey's breasts Clinton gripped.
    And then Clinton's lawyer 
    said "Linda's a liar" 
    and said she should button her lip.
    Pursuant to orders on high, 
    Lewinsky urged Linda to lie.
    Tripp knew that false witness 
    is criminal business 
    and said "I ain't casting that die."
    And knowing she needed some proof, 
    she had to behave like a sleuth.
    When up against liars 
    and evidence-buyers, 
    you have to have proof of the truth.
    She thought that a zone of her own 
    was talk on her own telephone.
    She had to preserve 
    the sound of those words 
    on tape as the proof of her own.
    When Clinton got slapped on the wrist 
    as though it were all about trysts.
    His friends down the line 
    charged Linda with crimes 
    to grant Clinton's get-even wish.
    As proof that they don't know the score, 
    the soccer moms hate Linda more.
    It's girl-talk they treasure 
    beyond any measure 
    and that's why they side with the whore.
    So what can the rest of us do 
    to get Linda out of this zoo?
    Send her some money -- 
    it wouldn't be funny -- 
    to let Clinton's wishes come true.
    While we all enjoy Christmas Cheer, 
    that poor girl is living in fear.
    We shouldn't wait 
    or leave her to fate, 
    so help her by clicking right here..

The Saga of Linda Tripp.
An intern with thongs on her hips befriended her co-worker, Tripp
who soon learned details of Bubba's avails directly from Monica's lips.
When Monica learned that Linda had heard that Bubba had groped a cute widow,
she told Linda Tripp to button her lip and say what old Bubba told "Kiddo."
He'd call them absurd (the things Tripp had heard) from that campaign worker named Willey,
whose hair was all mussed when she said her busts were fondled & touched by Slick Willie.
Monica stressed there'd be a big mess unless Linda said "It ain't so."
She offered incentives that were quite inventive:  vacations but not any dough.
She let Linda know she wasn't a 'ho' 'cause she thought that Clinton was surely her beau.
She showed her a dress he covered with mess when she showed how well she could ----
This great head of state made diplomats wait while Monica gave him a thrill,
He made quite a mess upon her blue dress where evidence stays on it still.
Thinking that such an allusion  would make Linda join the collusion
She asked her again to be a good friend and say that Kathleen had delusions.
When Linda said "No" to such scheme, Lewinsky continued to dream
that Linda would yield, get back on the field, and agree to get back on the team
But Linda was loathe to lie under oath and find herself stuck on a thistle
She got an epistle that just made her bristle, so she still insisted on blowing the whistle.
Tripp knew that they'd call her a liar and say that her pants were on fire
And needing a way to refute what they'd say, she decided to tape the real liar
Believing that tapes would protect her from apes who would otherwise say she was lying
She got in her car and took them to Starr who was working on cases for trying
Then Starr questioned Clinton in his deposition on whether he fondled Ms. Willey
And just like O.J., he lied all the way and denied having sex with Lewinsky
With Democrats crying that Starr was just trying to publicly expose poor ol' Bill
Monica knew as did Hillary too that exposure was his greatest thrill
But even when it did unfuld how many lies that he had told, he didn't even get a scold
Instead the soccer-moms just said "He lied-- so what?  The story's  old."
Not wanting to be deemed un-hip, they directed hate toward Linda Tripp
Ignoring Doe, whose lips he bit, they let him through impeachment slip,
To scare those who might still jump ship, they filed bogus charges on Tripp.
Reminding the ones with loose lips that talking too much can sink ships
So what is the lesson we've learned?  It shows how much scorn you will earn
By taping such threats, you lose all bets and it's you and not she who'll get burned.
Safety is found in conforming, so don't fix any problem that's thorny
Life in D.C. life can be so stormy, you see, especially when Clinton is horny.
