September 12, 2012--
American Doctors for Truth (a.k.a. AmericanDoctors4Truth.Org) expose ObamaCare as the collectivist nightmare that it is and make it clear that it will become more nightmarish unless it is repealed and replaced with a system that protects the doctor-patient relationship and the principles of individual liberty.

The challenge for those of us who understand this is how to penetrate the dominant news and entertainment media's headlock on young voters who lack the historical knowledge-base needed in order to evaluate ObamaCare in the context of the concepts of liberty guaranteed by our Constitution, which concepts of liberty seem to have eluded Akin long ago but which Romney nevertheless understands, with which position Ryan has sensibly chosen to concur with Romney. Many young voters (especially young women) sensibly perceive the positions espoused by Akin the same way that all living beings fear a wildfire. Many mistakenly equate Akin with Republicans at large, which mistaken view may cause them to want to flee Republicans in order to flee Akin, but in doing so, such fear of Akin is blocking their ability to logically understand that (a) his position (no abortions and no exceptions) poses no threat because it has ZERO chance of ever becoming a constitutional amendment but (b) their embracing Obama (and ObamaCare) is the equivalent of running towards a different wildfire which, in reality, poses a vastly more serious threat to liberty than the no-chance-of-ever-becoming-law position of Akin and the no-exceptions extremists (i.e., the no-abortions/no-exceptions position in the Republican platform which Romney repudiates). Such extreme views do not constitute the views of a majority of the "fiscal-conservative/strong-defense tea-party" movement which has strong libertarian views and which spoke loudly at the polls in the 2010 election.
Romney's position on abortion is the same as Reagan's, which the country at large generally found acceptable in broad terms. (Reagan viewed the incest, rape and life/health of the mother as exceptions to his opposition to abortion-- in his Presidential debates, he analogized such exceptions to the self-autonomy concept of self-defense.) This is a position with which a huge majority of Republicans agree. Only a small but vocal minority of Republicans support an absolutist no-abortions/no-exceptions view. Does Romney have morally admirable instincts towards people in need of help? Of course he does-- click the image immediately below to learn more:
