Iraq Veterans as Vets for Freedom Urge Politicians to Repudiate American Self-Defeatists in War on Terror in Iraq.´
In a new media campaign to counter American Self-Defeatists, Iraq Veterans for Freedom urge politicians to repudiate political pressures to pull out of Iraq or to try to limit or end the surge. Supporters hope this powerful media campaign comes in time to deter politicians from supporting defeatist positions and toward supporting victory.
This campaign comes at a time when many observers have been urging supporters of victory to begin effectively countering the unrelenting anti-victory campaign by American self-defeatists in the entertainment media, the news media, in Congress and in the Senate. Supporters hope this surge of media information comes in time to rally support for the military, political and economic surge taking place in Iraq now. Supports say that if it takes "extra innings" to prevail in Iraq, then in the spirit of the "national pastime" of the Greatest Generation, we must devote extra innings to the effort.
